If there’s one thing I’ve learnt on this hell of a journey, it’s that we do not know what true wellness is, what health looks like, feels like. Like yourself, I’m here to create paradigm shifts in this arena. Great to be introduced to your page by Claire Venus today 😎

I know exactly what you mean about the rest too! I went through a period back in 2022 where I had to bring in more rest yet I wasn’t fully disabled by (migraine) attacks. It was actually easier to be that severely ill than it was to make space for rest rest and more rest, say no again and again and again, close my work diary down and continue prioritising my health in the same way I had been forced to do in the years prior. Not something I hear us talk about in the community. It’s also the timeframe that took me beyond what a believed possible. I can see why we don’t believe it’s possible. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life (and I’ve done many many difficult, really hard, mega tough, challenging things).

yes, absolutely! I think it's common to have a complicated relationship to rest when you have a chronic illness. sometimes it's so boring even when it's necessary and healing. and the hard things humans can do constantly amaze and inspire me 💕

One thing I’ve learnt through this is that we underestimate ourselves and what we’re capable of, greatly.
