This month was a beautiful month for connecting IRL with a bunch of neurodivergent people. Nothing else makes me feel quite like I belong like hanging out with diverse people with many special interests, all talking passionately at once.
Here is everything I loved in October:
♠️ As a cozy lover and musician myself, I was surprised and delighted by this perspective…
“I’m a poet and an artist, and as overactive as my imagination is, I cannot do my job without leaving the house regularly. I need to see different trees. I need to hear snippets of conversations and find cool stuff on the ground.”

♠️ An incredibly poignant post, one even more relevant these days…
“It’s a messy journey, one we’re all on together. And it includes complex and complicated emotions—brokenness and suffering intertwined with happiness and laughter. And it also includes dancing. That is how we get through.”
♠️ Quick & helpful tips about task procrastination (something I *really* struggle with)
“I want you to shift your perspective from believing procrastination is a personal failure. Instead, I’d like you to view it as a problem with the task you are procrastinating against doing.”

♠️ Very excited to see Sonny Jane Wise on Substack. They have helped me immensely on my neurodivergent journey!
“I genuinely believe we cannot create a neurodiversity affirming society or fight for neuroinclusion without unpacking and decentering neuronormativity.”
